I was born and raised in East Lansing Michigan and moved to San Antonio, Texas in the spring of 2021 right before graduating from Michigan State University. I am an abstract expressionist artist, who uses elements of graffiti and graphic design to create works full of movement and bright colors. My work is usually in acrylic paint, spray paint, or watercolor, but I also create illustrations using pen, pencil, marker, and colored pencils. I also create graphic design illustrations using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

My subject range varies including portraits, animals, landscapes, and abstract design but include concepts dealing with how our society stigmatizes mental health, issues regarding race relations and my identity as an African American, the beauty of nature and animals. Most of my work is extremely busy with an abundance of movement but still have a sense of balance to them. I achieve this by intense layering of bright colors and geometric shapes. At times I create portrait style paintings with clear influence of graphic Design and elements of Graffiti Black outlines, some accompanying texts.

My work is created with the intention of provoking meaningful dialogue with the end goal expanding their' perspectives about the world and in turn expanding their' realities beyond their' own personal experiences. I use art as a vehicle to explore the things I do not understand about the world and life itself, and I grapple with subjects such as LOVE, or the consequence of being an African American male, or the implications of this identity. I believe that art is a divine means of connection and I believe that I can use this means to uplift, inspire, and explore with people who all similar, but different in many ways.
