The “SENSEI Collection", a concentration that grapples with how our society handles mental health disorders and what it means to be a person with mental health issues.These sensei characters are sub-human representations of the people mentally ill people that we often marginalize through the stigmatizations of mental illness as weak and unproductive. This is true specially in the U.S. where far too often productivity is valued over mental stability. They are created as Sensei's to represent the lessons we can learn from mental illness and those people who are mentally ill. Some of the characters are animals or have sub-human features in order to further represent how treats them as less than human in many ways. 
 
This Concentrations is a reminder to all those who are struggling with mental illness that you are strong, and through you largest challenges comes your greatest lessons! You are the master of your own mind!his is the narrative that needs to be taught.
